Today, MyLife.com announced that it has purchased Threadsy’s technology that allows users to pull together their email and social accounts into a simple, enjoyable experience. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

While MyLife currently enables its over 60 Million registered users to connect to their social and email accounts for free, the Threadsy technology will allow MyLife to bolster its Personal Relationship Manager (PRM) offerings even further. With the Threadsy technology, MyLife users will now have access to:

  • A unified ‘social inbox’ that combines email and direct messaging from all social networks, and
  • Photo and audio sharing from all networks

These features will rest on top of MyLife’s highly-popular “Who’s Searching for You” service and the company’s robust search capabilities that can analyze over 700 Million profiles to find people who can’t be found anywhere else. MyLife search provides a one-stop shop to connect with family, friends, classmates and colleagues and also find valuable service providers like lawyers, carpenters, electricians.

“Our purchase of Threadsy’s technology is a win for MyLife,” said Jeff Tinsley, founder and CEO of MyLife.com. “We will get the immediate benefit of Threadsy’s complimentary technologies, enhancing our Personal Relationship Manager, which lets users manage all their social networks in one place, and our unique people search capabilities.
