IDOX plc ('IDOX' or 'the Company')

Director Shareholding


The Board of IDOX announces that it received notification on 21 October 2005
that John Wisbey, Non-Executive Director, acquired, on 21 October 2005, 55,000
ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 11.42p per share. John
Wisbey is now interested in a personal capacity in 205,000 ordinary shares in
IDOX representing 0.11% of the current issued share capital.

John Wisbey also holds interests in IDOX through the shareholdings of Advanced
Technology Trust and Lombard Risk Management plc ('LRM'). John Wisbey is a
beneficiary of Advanced Technology Trust and a director and significant
shareholder of LRM. The total beneficial interest of John Wisbey in IDOX has now
increased to 17,073,212 ordinary shares representing 9.12% of the current issued
share capital of the Company.

The ordinary shares referred to above are the ordinary shares of 1p per share.
