Zurich Insurance Nominates Jasmin Staiblin to Board of Directors

Zurich Insurance Group AG (ZURN.EB) said Thursday that its board
of directors proposed the appointment Jasmin Staiblin for a
one-year term, a nomination which will voted on at the company's
annual general meeting on April 4.
Ms. Staiblin is chief executive at Swiss energy company Alpiq
Holding AG (ALPH.EB), as well as non-executive director at
Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (RR.LN) and Georg Fischer AG (FI-N.EB),
Zurich said.
The insurer said that board vice-chairman Fred Kindle and board
member Susan Bies will retire on April 4.
