Deutsche Post Names HR Head Melanie Kreis New CFO

FRANKFURT--Deutsche Post AG (DPW.XE) said Friday that Chief Financial Officer Lawrence Rosen will be replaced by board member Melanie Kreis, formerly a financial officer of DHL Express.

Mr. Rosen will retire from the managing board at the end of September, the company said in a statement.

"We respect his wish to spend more time with his family in future," Supervisory Board Chairman Wulf von Schimmelmann said, thanking Mr. Rosen for his contributions to the company.

Ms. Kreis was appointed board member responsible for human resources in 2014, and will continue in this role for the time being. She joined the company in 2004 and was instrumental in the sale of Postbank to Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Post said.
