The new store will host a grand opening celebration with week-long savings and four days of dedicated special events from Sept. 15 through Sept. 18. The grand opening festivities start with special offers in the OfficeMax Sunday newspaper circular, and include chances to win one of four, $1,000 shopping spree giveaways, allowing winners to makeover their small or home offices with OfficeMax furniture, technology or supplies. Events at the new store -- located at 5900-151 Poyner Anchor Lane -- will kick off Thursday, Sept. 15 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries. The store's first 100 customers on Sept. 15 will receive free goody bags filled with office supplies. In addition, a free, catered After Hours business networking event will be held that includes how-to workshops and informational seminars, goodie-bags and raffle prizes.
