High School Sports Awards national show, debuting a new
podcast-style talk show format. The national show premiers on
Sunday, July 30 at 8 p.m. ET on the USA TODAY High School
Sports Awards website. USA TODAY High School Sports Awards, the
largest high school sports recognition program in the country,
honors the top athletic accomplishments of over 40 athletes in 18
sports categories – baseball, softball, track & field,
volleyball, lacrosse, field hockey, cross country, golf, bowling,
soccer, hockey, gymnastics, wrestling, basketball, football, flag
football, swimming & diving and tennis. National nominees are
selected through statistical analysis, game coverage and coach and
athletic director feedback.
