KBR Awarded Contract by Scottish and Southern Energy Plc (SSE) to Provide Project Management Services

KBR (NYSE: KBR) today announced that it has been awarded a
contract by Scottish and Southern Energy Plc (SSE) to provide
Project Management Services for its capital investment program over
the next five years.
SSE has appointed KBR as Project Management Partner to help
maintain the processes, systems and skills needed to deliver large
capital projects. KBR will supplement and complement the work
performed by SSE’s in-house major projects team. The SSE team has
been augmented in recent months, to increase its capacity to manage
major projects.
SSE’s program covers the full spectrum of capital investment
including new power generation, modification of existing power
stations and construction of transmission assets at a wide range of
locations in the UK. KBR will apply its international project
management experience throughout the full project life-cycle by
developing the best solutions and delivering them on time to
budget.
