Harris Corporation Names Alex Heidt Senior Vice President of Business Development for its IT Services Business

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications
and information technology company, has named Alex Heidt senior
vice president of Business Development, reporting to John Heller,
president, Harris IT Services. Heidt has served as vice president
of Air Force Programs at Harris IT Services since joining Harris in
December, 2010. In his new role Heidt will be responsible for the
entire business development process — including enterprise-wide
strategic direction and proposal management — to advance the
company’s IT Services business.
Prior to joining Harris, Heidt served as vice president of
Global Mission Solutions for Lockheed Martin, heading operations,
finance, and business development for a $450 million division.
Heidt earned his juris doctor and master of arts degree in Finance
from Catholic University, and his bachelor of science degree in
Business Administration from Strayer University. He is admitted to
the Virginia State Bar, and served honorably in the U.S. Marine
Corps.
