JOHANNESBURG, Nov. 20, 2013 /CNW/ - Gold Fields Limited (Gold
Fields) (JSE, NYSE, NASDAQ Dubai: GFI) today announced net earnings
from continuing operations for the September
2013 quarter of US$9 million
compared with a net loss of US$129
million in the June 2013
quarter and earnings of US$122
million in the September 2012
quarter. In Rand terms the net earnings for the September 2013 quarter of R63 million compared
with a net loss of R1,169 million in the June 2013 quarter and earnings of R997 million in
the September 2012 quarter.
