Roughly 6,000 miners are set to strike at Gold Fields Ltd.'s (GFI) South Deep mine in South Africa from Friday night, the country's largest trade union said.

The National Union of Mineworkers in an emailed statement said a labor court earlier in the day overturned a previous order halting a planned strike by workers at the mine.
