Corn Products International Declares Quarterly Dividend of $0.08 Per Share, Holds 2006 Annual Meeting of Stockholders

WESTCHESTER, Ill., May 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of
Directors of Corn Products International, Inc. (NYSE:CPO), a
leading global provider of agriculturally derived ingredients to
diversified industries, today declared a quarterly dividend of
$0.08 per share on the Company's common stock, payable July 25,
2006, to stockholders of record at the close of business on June
28, 2006. Corn Products International also held its 9th Annual
Meeting of Stockholders today at the Westbrook Corporate Center
Meeting Facility adjacent to its corporate headquarters in
Westchester, Ill. During the meeting, stockholders elected three
Directors to new, three- year terms expiring in 2009: Luis
Aranguren-Trellez, 44, executive vice president of Arancia
Industrial, S.A. de C.V.; Paul Hanrahan, 48, president and chief
executive officer of The AES Corporation; and William S. Norman,
67, former president and chief executive officer of the Travel
Industry Association of America. After 8 years of service on the
Corn Products International Board of Directors, Ronald M. Gross,
72, chairman emeritus, former chairman and chief executive officer
of Rayonier, Inc., retired from the Board, reducing its size to 10
members. Stockholders also ratified the appointment of KPMG LLP as
the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for
