The SDK enables third-party developers, partners, and customers to build complementary solutions that further the worldwide adoption of BMC Performance Manager, the next generation of PATROL(R). Seamless Technologies and Sentry Software are among the first BMC Software third-party developers to leverage the SDK. Introduced in May 2005 with the release of BMC Performance Manager Portal, BMC Performance Manager is the foundation of Business Service Management (BSM). BSM allows organizations to lower costs and mitigate risk by managing IT operations and components based on business priorities. The SDK will fulfill customer demand for BMC Performance Manager by expanding the ecosystem of third parties delivering customized solutions.
