Hunter will report to UMB Executive Vice President Brad Smith. Ms. Hunter comes to UMB with 22 years of banking experience with the last 17 years focusing on the small business community. Most recently, Hunter was vice president of the corporate banking division of Commerce Bank (1997-2005) where she was actively involved in leading small business banking initiatives. Prior to Commerce, Hunter was the vice president of the business banking group at Bank of America (formerly Boatmen's Bank). In 2000, Hunter received the "Women Who Mean Business" award for being one of the top 25 most influential business women in Kansas City. She is on the Board of Directors for Growth Opportunity Connection, Inc., and the EDC Loan Corporation.
