Expiration of Restricted Period of the Songa Consideration Shares and New Ticker

Star Bulk Carriers Corp. (the "Company" or "Star Bulk") (NASDAQ:
SBLK, OSE: SBLK R). Reference is made to the Company’s previous
announcement of January 18, 2019.
The Consideration Shares are registered with
ISIN MHY8162K2046 and with the ticker “SBLK R”. The Restricted
Period will expire tomorrow 23 January, 2019 and all Consideration
Shares of the Company, other than those held by affiliates of the
Company, may from such date be traded on the Nasdaq Global Select
Market in the United States and Oslo Børs under the Company’s
ordinary trading symbol “SBLK”.

coal and grain, and minor bulks, which include bauxite, fertilizers
