Cybersecurity startup SentinelOne on Wednesday said it raised $200 million in a Series E funding round led by venture-capital firm Insight Partners.

The Mountain View, Calif., company said the round brings its total funding to $429.5 million and raises its valuation to $1.1 billion, making SentinelOne a unicorn, or a privately held startup valued at $1 billion or more.

SentinelOne said Tiger Global Management, Qualcomm Ventures LLC, Vista Equity Partners, Third Point Ventures and previous investors also participated.

Insight Partners led a $120 million Series D funding round for SentinelOne last year.

SentinelOne said it will use the funding to accelerate growth and to meet rising demand for its endpoint protection platform.
