Northwest Pipe Company Announces $7M Order

PORTLAND, OR reported today that it has received a verbal
commitment from Oscar Renda Contracting of Roanoke, Texas for the
Reuse Pipeline and Diffuser to Lake Lanier -- Contract 3 project
for the Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources near Atlanta,
Georgia.
The Company will supply approximately 6,500 feet of mostly 72"
steel pipe and engineered fittings. The pipe is expected to be
manufactured in the Company's Parkersburg, West Virginia division
with delivery scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2008.
Northwest Pipe Company manufactures welded steel pipe and other
products in three business segments. Its Water Transmission Group
is a leading supplier of large diameter, high-pressure steel pipe
products that are used primarily for water infrastructure in North
America. Its Tubular Products Group manufactures smaller diameter
steel pipe for a wide range of construction, agricultural, energy,
industrial and mechanical applications. Its Fabricated Products
Group manufactures propane tanks and other fabricated products. The
