Mattson Technology Receives Multiple Suprema(R) System Orders From Leading Foundry in Asia

Mattson Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MTSN), a leading supplier of
advanced process equipment used to manufacture semiconductors,
today announced that a leading semiconductor foundry based in Asia
has placed multiple orders for the Company's Suprema® photoresist
strip system. The Company noted that the orders come from multiple
production fabs from its long standing customer, and the systems
would be used for all photoresist strip processes on both
front-end-of-line (FEOL) and back-end-of-line (BEOL) applications.
The tool shipments will start in the current quarter and continue
into 2011.
