Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On January 10, 2008, CalAmp Corp. issued a press release announcing updated revenue and earnings guidance for its third quarter ended December 1, 2007. In the press release the Company also announced that it expects to record a goodwill impairment charge in the third quarter ended December 1, 2007 in the range of $64 million to $68 million. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
