OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Brooke
Capital Corporation (AMEX:BCP) announced today that it will issue
financial results for its third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2007, on
Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, following the close of the market. A special
meeting of Brooke Capital Corporation shareholders is scheduled for
Nov. 5, 2007, to consider, among other issues, the approval of a
plan of merger of Brooke Franchise Corporation into Brooke Capital
Corporation. We expect shareholder approval of the proposed merger,
and that the merger will be consummated as soon as all other
closing conditions have been met. Immediately following
consummation of the merger, our directors are expected to elect
Brooke Franchise Corporation's Chief Executive Officer, Kyle Garst,
and Chief Operating Officer, Dane Devlin, to the same positions
within Brooke Capital Corporation. As such, Mr. Garst and Mr.
Devlin, along with Chairman, Robert D. Orr, and Vice Chairman,
Michael Hess, will host an investor and analyst conference call on
Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. CST/ 11 a.m. EST to discuss its
financial and operating results for the third quarter of 2007. To
