NET Servicos Selects ARRIS C4(R) CMTS to Expand Its High Speed Data & VoIP Service in Brazil

SUWANEE, Ga., March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS)
today announced that Brazil's NET Servicos de Comunicacao S.A.,
owner of Latin America's largest cable operator, NET, has placed a
large order for ARRIS C4 CMTS' to be deployed across its national
footprint. The C4 CMTS' will provide high-speed data service as
well as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone service to
NET customers in cities including Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro,
Curitiba, Brasilia and Santos. "As the Brazilian broadband
landscape becomes more competitive, we must continue to offer our
customers the widest variety of telecommunications services
available, and we were impressed with the C4's density, scalability
and all-component redundancy," said NET CEO Jose Antonio Felix on
