SUWANEE, Ga., Aug. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) announced that its CXM Broadband suite of solutions for the Hospitality and Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) market, which includes the ARRIS CXM SandDollar modems and gateways, has been deployed in the 2,881-room Gaylord Opryland(R) Resort & Convention Center and the 300-room Radisson Hotel at Opryland in Nashville, TN. "We evaluated the ARRIS CXM in-room high speed access solution against a variety of competing technologies," said Kevin Culp, director of information technologies for Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. "Given the unique aspects of our property and the SandDollar's ability to deliver up to 36 Mbp/s on the downstream, the CXM suite of products provided the best solution to meet the needs of our guests," he continued. ARRIS CXM BG30X gateways and SD30X SandDollar(TM) modems are currently deployed in numerous hotels throughout North America and Europe as well as in numerous MDUs throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
