Analog Devices 2Q Outlooks Tops Forecasts

Analog Devices Inc. Wednesday offered a sales and profit outlook
for the second fiscal quarter that surpassed what analysts had been
estimating.
The Wilmington, Mass.-based electrical-components company
forecast second-quarter revenue of $1.6 billion, plus or minus $50
million, and an adjusted profit of $1.44 a share, plus or minus 8
cents a share.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet had been estimating second-quarter
revenue of $1.51 billion, and adjusted earnings of $1.33 a
share.
