Industry Leader David Green Named Vice President of Sales, EMEA, for Procera Networks

LOS GATOS, CA , a pioneering developer of carrier-grade network traffic and service management infrastructure equipment, today announced the appointment of David Green as vice president of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his new role, he will lead Procera's regional team in delivering advanced deep packet inspection solutions and in further expanding Procera's channel partner program throughout the region.

Throughout his career, Mr. Green has developed extensive industry knowledge and relationships with Tier-1 telco broadband providers, wireless providers, ISPs and channel partners. Most recently he was general manager - EMEA for Ellacoya (now Arbor Networks), a maker of deep packet inspection technology, where he and his team closed multiple sales in the multimillion dollar range and grew revenues by a multifold factor. Previously, for nearly 8 years he was sales management for the cable and service-provider segment for Cisco Systems and earlier in his career he held sales and management positions for 3Com and Cabletron Systems. He holds a BTEC in telecommunications with distinction from Acton Technical College, London.
