Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors;
Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers. Mr. William F. Wright retired from the board of director of AMCON Distributing Company ("AMCON"), effective January 1, 2010. Mr. Wright's retirement was not because of any disagreement with AMCON on any matter relating to AMCON's operations, policies or practices.
