Suez SA said Wednesday that it has received a contract for hazardous waste recovery from the automotive sector in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park in China.

The French water-and-waste management company said its subsidiary Suez NWS had created a joint venture for the project, together with the park and Chinese car maker SAIC Motor Corp. Ltd.

The contract is expected to have an overall turnover of around 528 million euros ($573.4 million) over 30 years, Suez said.
