Retailer Target Corp. (TGT) said Thursday it was adding a
same-day delivery option to its app, which will allow customers to
have merchandise delivered via Shipt.
The app is available for Android and iOS users, the company
said. More than 65,000 items will be eligible for shipping, the
company said.
Target said, "Guests can get same-day delivery at any time of
year by becoming a Shipt member or by paying a $9.99 delivery fee
per order," adding guests who are not Shipt members will be offered
a four-week trial membership.
Target said guests using the app or the company's website will
be given free same-day delivery on orders of $75 or more between
November 17 and November 26.
