DuPont de Nemours Inc. (DD) on Tuesday said it agreed to sell the compound semiconductor solutions business of its electronics and imaging segment to South Korea's SK Siltron for $450 million.

The Wilmington, Del., company said the sale is part of its strategy of aligning its portfolio with high-return opportunities, adding that the business being sold isn't a strategic priority for the electronics and imaging segment.

Dupont said it expects to complete the sale by the end of the year.
