--Walmart Inc. (WMT) hired a former Humana Inc. executive to run the retailer's health-care business, Bloomberg reported Monday.

--Sean Slovenski will serve as senior vice president of health and wellness at Walmart, and will take his post effective Aug. 1, the report said.

--Mr. Slovenski was vice president of innovation at Humana, and worked most recently for a digital-health company that partners with Walmart, the report said.
