On September 29, 2017, MGM China Holdings Limited (“MGM China”), an indirect majority-owned subsidiary of MGM Resorts International (the “Company”), filed an announcement with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (the “HKSE”) disclosing updated expectations regarding the opening date of MGM Cotai and changes to the expected budget. The Company currently expects that the project will open on January 29, 2018 and that the total estimated project budget will now be $3.4 billion, excluding development fees eliminated in consolidation, capitalized interest and land related costs.
