on the number of costumers, announces today its 2016
results.
In 2016, net operating revenue, including construction revenue,
reached R$ 14,098.2 million; a 20.4%
increase compared to 2015.
Costs and expenses, including construction costs, totaled
R$ 10,678.0 million, 21.1% higher
than in 2015.
Adjusted EBIT, in the amount of R$
3,424.9 million, grew 18.1% from R$
2,900.2 million recorded in 2015.
Adjusted EBITDA, in the amount of R$
4,571.5 million, increased 15.0% from R$ 3,974.3 million recorded in 2015.
The adjusted EBITDA margin was 32.4% in 2016 against 33.9% in
2015. Excluding construction revenues and construction costs, the
adjusted EBITDA margin was 43.3% in 2016 (46.6% in 2015).
In 2016 the Company recorded a net income of R$ 2,947.1 million, in comparison to a net income
of R$ 536.3 million in 2015.
