Game Technology PLC (NYSE:IGT) announced that its subsidiary, IGT
Global Solutions Corporation (with International Game Technology
PLC, hereinafter "IGT"), has signed a seven-year contract extension
with the Georgia Lottery Corporation ("Georgia Lottery" or
"Lottery") to provide new lottery products and services through
Sept. 11, 2025. IGT has partnered
with the Georgia Lottery since it first started selling tickets in
1993.

and successful partnership for more than 20 years, and this
contract extension is a testament to the mutual cooperation
and commitment of the two organizations to increase
lottery sales and continue generating record profits for
education through the deployment of industry-leading

Lottery.
Under the contract extension, IGT will provide the Georgia
Lottery with several components of IGT's Aurora™ platform,
including Aurora Transaction Engine, Aurora Open Retail, Aurora
Retailer Wizard, Aurora Navigator, and Aurora Performance Intel.
Aurora Open Retail, a new retail solution software architecture,
will enable the Georgia Lottery to support multiple types of retail
solution devices in an efficient manner, improving time to market.
In addition, the Georgia Lottery will receive Aurora Navigator
back-office applications for Lottery personnel, who will now have
the ability to customize the look and feel of the interface to meet
their exact needs, help them better manage their business, and
enhance productivity. The Georgia Lottery will also receive IGT's
Aurora Performance Intel solution, a comprehensive business
intelligence and analytics tool that provides insights across all
sales channels. IGT's Aurora Retailer Wizard solution will provide
a secure website for Georgia Lottery retailers to more effectively
manage their businesses, interact with the Lottery, and drive
results.
In addition to providing the Georgia Lottery with the
above-mentioned suite of Aurora platform components, IGT will
replace a significant portion of the Georgia Lottery's existing
lottery terminal base with IGT's Altura™ Flex lottery terminals,
which feature a smaller footprint along with a large
high-resolution display for ease of retailer use and the
widely-deployed high-speed AccuTherm Ultra printer. IGT will also
provide 6,150 Ticket-Scan™ Plus self-service ticket checkers and an
equal amount of the Company's latest Aurora MultiMedia digital
signage solution will also be deployed, which will help stimulate
increased brand awareness, winner awareness, jackpot awareness, and
transaction activities. As part of the contract extension, 4,650
new KENO video controller units will be installed by IGT at
authorized KENO retailers throughout the state.
Additionally, IGT will provide select Georgia Lottery retailers
with the Gemini™ Touch, IGT's new self-service lottery vending
machine, which provides fully customizable screens and support for
up to 28 instant-ticket games and a configurable number of draw
games. The Gemini Touch will also feature a cashless payment
option.
Further, a material portion of the existing retailer
communications network will be upgraded to the latest advanced
generation of satellite technology. Lastly, as part of the contract
extension, IGT will provide integration and enhancements to the
Georgia Lottery's iLottery player portal on its website.
IGT will continue to provide the Georgia Lottery with ongoing
services, including installation and maintenance of the central
system components, retailer equipment, and the communications
network; data center operations; call center operations; field
services; consumables; an end-to-end iLottery program; and
marketing and operational support.
The Georgia Lottery recorded a record $4.56 billion in total sales in its fiscal year
2016. As one of the top performing and most efficient
