SEATTLE, Sept. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearSign
Combustion Corporation (NASDAQ: CLIR), an emerging provider of
industrial combustion technologies that help to reduce emissions
and improve efficiency, today announced the completion, customer
acceptance and issuance of payment for the initial phase of a
multiphase project to retrofit Duplex™ technology into enclosed
ground flares for a major California oil producer.
Awarded under a previously announced contract with Advanced

achieved environmental emissions that satisfied the most stringent
air regulations within California.
The results of the testing were independently confirmed by the
customer and Advanced Combustion and Process Controls, the prime

the existing contract, multiple units, including larger capacity
units, will be delivered. The project marks the first application
of ClearSign technology for the ground flare market.
"The successful application of Duplex technology to enclosed
ground flares demonstrates its versatility and capabilities for
reducing emissions and improving operating performance throughout a
broad asset class," said Steve
Pirnat, ClearSign's Chairman and CEO. "We are extremely
pleased that we have satisfied the customer's demanding performance
requirements."
