Achieves Sixth Consecutive Ranking Increase
with Ongoing Growth in Data Center Business
Datalink (NASDAQ: DTLK), a leading provider of data center
infrastructure and services, announced today that it placed #43 on
The Channel Company’s just-released 2015 CRN Solution Provider 500
list of the top technology integrators, MSPs and IT consultants in
North America based on 2014 revenues. The company debuted on the
annual list six years ago at #195 and has risen in the rankings
every year since, climbing four points from #47 in the last year
alone as annual revenues climbed to a record $630.2 million.
That growth has been fueled by ongoing expansion of Datalink’s
product and services portfolio to help organizations navigate every
phase of the data center lifecycle in the face of a complex and
rapidly changing technology landscape. The company’s offerings
today range from cloud and converged data center infrastructure
solutions to a full suite of managed, support and advanced
services, including cloud enablement, virtualization, data center
relocation, system and application migration, and business
continuity/disaster recovery planning.
Key additions in 2014 included Datalink Cloud Complete, a
fast-track cloud building solution that shortens the rollout of
self-service IT portals. This exclusive Datalink offering bundles
converged infrastructure, service automation and orchestration, a
services catalog and multiple support services into a single
package that eliminates lengthy planning processes and a la carte
purchases, enabling companies to quickly meet end users’ demand for
departmental and line-of-business cloud services.
Other 2014 highlights included the acquisition of San
Francisco-based Bear Data Systems, quadrupling Datalink’s West
Coast revenue base as well as adding more than 1,000 new midmarket
and enterprise customers and expanding Datalink’s Cisco expertise
into strategic new areas.
“The pace of change and the growth in expectations for how IT
must service the business is staggering. Many companies struggle
with how best to use the promise of technology to serve business
needs. Our strength is our ability to provide strategic advice,
architecture planning, operational support and management for even
the most complex scenarios, from converged data center design to
cloud strategy to data center consolidation and migration,” said
Datalink President and CEO Paul Lidsky. “Very few solution
providers have this breadth of experience, and that is why the
company continues to grow and raise its CRN SP 500 ranking on
a yearly basis.”
“The companies represented here are truly dedicated to the needs
of customers today. With an evolving IT landscape, this prestigious
list serves as a valuable industry resource to help vendors
navigate the solution provider community and identify the best
partners for their business,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel
Company. “We congratulate the featured solution providers for their
forward-thinking approach to solutions sales and look ahead to
their continued success.”
