SANTA ROSA, Calif.,
Nov. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ZAP
(ZAAP), an Electric Vehicle (EV) automotive company incorporated in
California Bay Area, and Jonway Auto is exhibiting the URBEE at the
Los Angeles Auto Show in the Concourse Hall at the Los Angeles
Convention Center. The Los Angeles Auto Show is from
November 21st to
November 30th this
week.
The URBEE is US DOT approved and is currently showing at the LA
Auto Show with the objective of building its dealership network in
North America and entering into
the EV utility fleet market in the US. The URBEE with its
four wheel disc brakes, heating, optional air conditioning, and
roof rack is ideally suited for resorts, retirement communities,
campuses and enclosed properties or private development
estates. The URBEE, designed with the ruggedness of an ATV
and "easy-to-drive" touch of a neighborhood electrical vehicle, has
a robust chassis with strengthened suspension to give riders
comfort. It can drive over rough terrain and is excellent as
a recreational vehicle, with a range of 130km to 150km between
charges.
ZAP is looking to build up their dealership network in both
North and South America, and will
also be expanding to Europe where
it is already EU L7 type approved.
