SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Menlo Logistics
(Menlo), the US$1.6 billion global
logistics subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW) announced today it
has named Paul T. Mooney as vice
president-International.
Mooney is a 28-year veteran of the global logistics and supply
chain industry with an extensive background in operations
management, as well as design and implementation of supply chain
solutions for multiple industries. He succeeds Joseph P. Dagnese, who earlier this month was
named president of Menlo's sister company, Con-way Truckload.

effectively utilize Lean operating practices to continuously
improve efficiencies and reduce costs for our customers," said

provide strong leadership for our international markets."
Mooney joined Menlo in 2004 as director of global account
management. In his new role he will be responsible for management,
strategic development, financial performance and growth for Menlo's
international operations on the European continent and in North and
South Asia.
He most recently was the company's senior director of
operations, responsible for a team of 300 employees providing 3PL
warehousing and transportation management services, as well as 4PL
supply chain engineering services for customers in North America. He also has championed Menlo's
deployment of Lean continuous improvement practices across the
company's associated operations globally, and formalized the
extension of Lean practices as part of Menlo's solution set for 4PL
customer engagements.
Prior to joining Menlo, Mooney was director of North American
Supply Chain for Pilkington Inc. a $6
billion global manufacturer of building and automotive glass
products. In this role he was responsible for all supply chain
activities for the original equipment manufacturer and aftermarket
business units at Pilkington North America.
He previously worked for logistics and consumer products
companies including Inoveris LLP, Exel Americas, CSC Cleveland
Consulting, Pepsi Cola North America and Baxter Healthcare,
advancing through increasingly responsible positions in sales,
business development, operations, logistics and transportation
management.
He is a graduate of Adrian College,
Adrian, Mich. where he earned his
bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He also holds an MBA
in Materials and Logistics Management from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Mich.
