NEW YORK, Jan. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hannover
House, Inc., the newly rebranded corporate name for Target
Development Group, Inc. (Pinksheets: TDGI), will unleash an
apocalypse of horror and promotions with the May 8, 2012 home video release of "Humans Vs.
Zombies," a new sci-fi-thriller from director Brian T. Jaynes ("Boggy Creek: The Legend Is
True"). The feature thriller was inspired by the hugely
popular role-playing game of the same name, and marks the second
home video release between Hannover House and Studio 3
Entertainment.
"Humans Vs. Zombies" tells the story of a worldwide conflict
between a group of human survivors battling against an ever-growing
army of insatiable zombies. The film enjoyed a key market
theatrical release in October and November, and has been selected
as a featured movie for broadcast on the Chiller Network, a
division of the SyFy Channel and NBC Universal. With more
than 600,000 participants in the "Humans Vs. Zombies" popular
role-playing game, the film should enjoy a solid base of support in
addition to the evergreen market for zombie properties.
Zombie-themed films and television programs have enjoyed a
resurgence in popularity in recent years, with features such as "28
Days Later" and "Zombieland" further enhanced by television hits
such as AMC's hit series, "The Walking Dead."
The release campaign will include extensive publicity and
outreach to the role-playing community, including social media and
internet. Promotions and ads will also include Sci-Fi / Horror fan
magazines, the SyFy Channel and the Chiller Network. An item of
special interest to horror fans will be a "Motion Comic Book" as a
bonus feature on both the DVD and Blu-Ray editions. The
Motion Comic Book tells the prequel story leading up to the "Humans
Vs Zombies" feature plot, with graphic-novel style illustrations,
graphic action, motion, audio and action similar to other Motion
Comic hits, "Animatrix", "Iron Man: Extremis", and "The Walking
Dead."
"This is one of the best known franchise titles in the horror
community now," said Eric Parkinson,
C.E.O. of Hannover House. "Once again, director Brian Jaynes delivers the goods that the sci-fi
and horror fans demand and has created one of the most entertaining
zombie features of all time. We think 'Humans Vs. Zombies'
will be a huge hit in this market, and will be a top item for video
sell-thru, video rentals and video-on-demand streaming," he
concluded.
The cast includes Madison Burge
("Seven Days in Utopia"), Frederic
Doss ("G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra"), Larry Jack Dotson ("I Love you Phillip Morris"), Christine Quinn ("Shark Night 3D") and
Ali Faulker ("Twilight Saga:
Breaking Dawn"). Executive Producers for the film were
Bruce Kahn, Brian Jaynes and Niko
Foster; line producer was Amy
Soto and consulting producer was Nicholas Leyva.
"We have enjoyed working with Hannover House on their successful
launch of 'Boggy Creek' to the home video market," said
Brian Jaynes. "They have
designed a terrific campaign for the video release of 'Humans Vs.
Zombies' and we look forward to seeing it all come together."

THEATRICAL RELEASE REVIEW:
"Director Brian T. Jaynes gives
us a new approach... the movie does focus more on our surviving
characters than some other zombie movies that simply rely on blood
and gore. The FX and makeup in the movie are great and look
awesome! The HVZ story is original and very unique and is a breath
of fresh air for this zombie fan! Madison
Burge ("Friday Night Lights") plays Tommi, the strong female
lead who in the beginning is a little too standoffish but
ultimately ends up kicking zombie ass. Frederic Doss ("Transformers", "G.I. Joe") plays
Frank who is a paranoid, shell-shocked campus security guard who is
the movies anti-hero and is a lot of fun to watch. Humans Versus
Zombies takes a whole new approach to zombie story telling!
Can I watch this again? HVZ gets a big HELL YES! Bottom line is
if you're looking for a new zombie movie with a great story and
fresh approach I highly recommend Humans Versus Zombies!"
