           March Networks Announces Exercise of Over-Allotment Option

OTTAWA, Ontario, May 18, 2005 -- March Networks Corporation (TSX: MN, AIM: MNW)
announced today that the underwriters of its initial public offering have
exercised their option to purchase 860,527 additional common shares to cover
over-allotments and for market stabilization purposes.

On April 27, 2005, March Networks announced that it had closed the initial
public offering and secondary offering of 5,736,850 common shares at $12.00 CDN
per share, with an over-allotment option granted to the underwriters by the
Company and one of its shareholders, Wesley Clover Corporation, to purchase up
to 443,860 and 416,667 additional common shares respectively.  The exercise of
the over-allotment option at $12.00 CDN per share brings an additional
$5,326,320 CDN gross proceeds to the Company.

Evolution Securities Limited and RBC Capital Markets are the joint book-runners
and co-lead managers for the offering.
