              Marylebone Warwick Balfour Group plc ("the Company")


                               Holding in Company


The Company was informed on 18 October 2006, by London Finance & Investment
Group Plc, that following completion of the Tender Offer on 24th October 2006 it
no longer has a notifiable interest in the Company.


Mr. D.C. Marshall is deemed to be interested in the remaining holding of 2
million ordinary shares in Marylebone Warwick Balfour Group Plc owned by London
Finance & Investment Group Plc as he is a director of London Finance &
Investment Group Plc and a director of the Company.



The Company was also notified on 18 October 2006 by Deutsche Bank AG London
that, following completion of the Tender Offer on 24th October 2006, they hold a
total interest of 6,511,537 shares being equivalent to approximately 8.09 per
cent. of the current issued share capital of the Company of 80,522,017 Ordinary
Shares.
