Consumer Automotive Fina... (CE) Description

Consumer Automotive Finance, Inc. is an indirect automotive financial services company that focuses on servicing the sub-prime market. The Nevada-based company is led by Nicholas A. Konopka, President & CEO. Mr. Konopka has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. He recently agreed to join CAFI, after leaving another sub-prime indirect automotive financial services company, where he developed and spearheaded the company's operations; implemented its systems and controls; and had a track record for success over the past 7 years. CAFI uses financial research and its proprietary underwriting methods and tools as the bases for its lending decisions. Mr. Konopka has developed a criteria-based system, which has proven effective in evaluating deal structure, and affordability, as well as a consumer's stability, when evaluating applications for sub-prime automotive loans. Every effort is made to ensure the security, financial stability and structure of each loan, based upon the Company's internal control policies and procedures. Thus, each and every loan comports with the underwriting guidelines of the Company's.
