Before SAIC, Thad was the Interim CEO of the University of Wyoming Research Corporation (dba Western Research Institute (WRI); CEO and Chairman of International Youth Institute; and Executive Vice President of Browning Resources U.S., a natural resources company. Wolfe spent 31 years in the US Air Force serving in operational command and staff positions including assignments as Squadron and Wing Commander, Strategic Warfare Center Commander, and the Deputy Director responsible for National Strategic Target List development on the Joint Strategic Targeting Planning Staff. He was the senior military officer in the Operations Directorate at the National Security Agency and Vice Commander of the Air Combat Command where he completed active duty service as a Lieutenant General. Wolfe is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Military Science and a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a graduate of the National War College and the Harvard Program for Leaders of National and International Security. He has served on the Boards of WRI, the Ruckelshaus Institute for Environment and Natural Resources, the Retired Officers Association, and chaired the Veterans and Retiree�s Council of the Air Force Association.
