firm, today announced the appointment of Thad Wolfe to President,
Government/Air Force. He will be responsible for the development,
support, and account management of the company�s Air Force
business. Joining more than 160 other professionals at Thomas

Manager for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD)

AEROSPACENTER for Science Applications International Corporation
(SAIC). Before SAIC, Thad was the Interim CEO of the University of
Wyoming Research Corporation (dba Western Research Institute (WRI);
CEO and Chairman of International Youth Institute; and Executive
Vice President of Browning Resources U.S., a natural resources
company. Wolfe spent 31 years in the US Air Force serving in
operational command and staff positions including assignments as
Squadron and Wing Commander, Strategic Warfare Center Commander,
and the Deputy Director responsible for National Strategic Target
List development on the Joint Strategic Targeting Planning Staff.
He was the senior military officer in the Operations Directorate at
the National Security Agency and Vice Commander of the Air Combat
Command where he completed active duty service as a Lieutenant
General. Wolfe is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Military Science and a
graduate of the University of Wyoming with a Master of Science
degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a graduate of the National
War College and the Harvard Program for Leaders of National and
International Security. He has served on the Boards of WRI, the
Ruckelshaus Institute for Environment and Natural Resources, the
Retired Officers Association, and chaired the Veterans and
