May 17, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/
-- Ness Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSTC and TASE: NSTC), a global
provider of information technology solutions and services announced
today that its Software Product Labs(SM) business unit has been
selected by Perform, a world leader at broadcasting and
commercializing sport in digital media, to extend its software
product engineering capability. Over the three-year engagement,
Perform will utilize Ness Software Product Labs' global development
center in Kosice, Slovakia. The
Ness team will focus on core software platform development for
video-on-demand, conditional access, and multi-media distribution
and streaming.
"We are delighted to partner with Ness to execute our strategic
technology roadmap," said Andy
Measham, COO, Perform. "This partnership is fundamental to
our ongoing growth and we evaluated several potential partners
across several geographies before finally choosing Ness based on
their cultural alignment with our business, product engineering
expertise, proven track record and commitment to the success of
Perform and our clients. We look forward to a long and successful
relationship with the Ness team."
In 2009, Perform streamed 16,927 live sporting events and drove
