Inphi Appoints Eric Hayes to Lead its Networking Interconnect Business

Inphi Corporation (NYSE: IPHI), a leader in high-speed data
movement interconnects, today announced the appointment of Eric
Hayes to lead the company’s Networking Interconnect business as
senior vice president, reporting to Ford Tamer, Inphi’s
CEO. Hayes joins Inphi with more than 25 years of technology
leadership experience in networking, within the domains of ethernet
switches, physical layer devices, microprocessors, and mobile
infrastructure.

Hayes was most recently the senior vice president and general
manager of networking at Marvell Technology Group, responsible for
ethernet switches and physical layer devices. He joined Marvell
through the acquisition of Cavium. Before Cavium, Hayes held
various roles at Broadcom from applications engineering to vice
president of platform marketing. Hayes earned a B.S. degree
in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
He will be based at the company’s Santa Clara, CA headquarters
location.
