I write with regard to the above named trust.  Shareholders at the Annual
General Meeting held on 16 September 1999 approved a Special Resolution to
change the name of the company to, Moorgate Investment Trust plc. Companies
House in Cardiff confirmed to me today by telephone that this name change will
be effective from 23 September 1999 and that the Change of Name Certificate
would be sent shortly thereafter.
