Just Retirement, the specialist UK life assurance group focusing on the
provision of financial services to those at or in retirement, announces that it
was today notified of the following transactions by Directors and persons
discharging managerial responsibility:


Simon Thomas, Finance Director, purchased 20,000 ordinary shares in the Company
at 115 pence per share on 9 January 2008.  His beneficial interest in Just
Retirement is now 320,000 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.11% of
the Company's issued share capital;


David Cooper, Marketing Director of JR Life, purchased 100,000 ordinary shares
in the Company at 115 pence per share on 9 January 2008.  His beneficial
interest in Just Retirement is now 400,000 ordinary shares, representing
approximately 0.14% of the Company's issued share capital;


Bernard Brown, Corporate Development Director, purchased 17,000 ordinary shares
in the Company at 115 pence per share on 9 January 2008.  His beneficial
interest in Just Retirement is now 141,700 ordinary shares, representing
approximately 0.05% of the Company's issued share capital.
