Daimler AG (DAI.XE) said Monday that Philipp Schiemer will become head of sales and marketing at the company's buses division starting on June 1.

The German premium car maker said Ulrich Bastert, who currently holds the position, will retire mid-year.

Karl Deppen will succeed Mr. Schiemer as head of the Brazilian division Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda. on May 1, the company added.
