SSARIS Advisors, LLC Honored at InvestHedge Fund of Hedge Fund Awards

SSARIS Advisors, LLC, an absolute return hedge fund and fund of
funds manager and a State Street Global Alliance portfolio company,
announced today that it was honored at the annual InvestHedge Fund
of Hedge Funds Awards ceremony held last night in New York City.
SSARIS garnered a win in the “Global Multi-Strategy ($500 million
-$1 billion) over 3 years” category for its Multi-Manager Absolute
Return Strategy. The Strategy was also nominated in the “Global
Multi-Strategy ($100 million - $500 million)” category. In the
category of Arbitrage, SSARIS was nominated for its Multi-Manager
Relative Value Strategy.
For the third consecutive year SSARIS’ Fund of Fund products
have won an InvestHedge award. For the eighth year InvestHedge, a
Hedge Fund Intelligence publication dedicated to investors in hedge
funds, has recognized excellence in risk-adjusted performance among
the global fund of hedge funds universe.
To qualify, all funds of funds must provide a strategy
allocation breakdown for each fund nominated. InvestHedge has the
final say in which category a fund is nominated. Winners are
decided using an established methodology based on a combination of
Sharpe ratios and returns over the relevant time period.
