Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, was selected for the General Services Administration’s Connections II contract, which has a total ceiling value of $5 billion. Harris is one of 21 companies chosen to participate on the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), designed to enable delivery of IT communications and networking solutions to U.S. federal government agencies worldwide. The contract includes a base period of three years and three months with six one-year options.

Under the contract, Harris will deliver telecommunications support services and integrated solutions for federal agencies globally in four specific functional areas: communications and networking; building and campus facility preparation; operations, administration and management; and customer service and technical support. Through scalable, innovative solutions, Harris will deliver its proven technical capabilities to engineer, furnish, install, test, and support the enterprise networking demands of today’s government agencies.
