— Results of Operations and Financial Condition

Calpine Corporation (the “Company”) will host a conference call on February 29, 2008, at 1 p.m. EST, to present an overview of the Company following its emergence from Chapter 11 in late January.

A live Internet Webcast of the meeting, including management’s presentation, will be available at http://www.calpine.com by clicking on an available audio link. The Webcast will be available for replay purposes for 45 days after the live broadcast.
