MUNICH, Germany, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISSI), a leader in advanced memory solutions, today introduced the IS61WV102416ALL/BLL, the industry's first 16Mb, 1Mx16, high speed/low power asynchronous SRAM with access times as fast as 8ns. This new device gives the designer a high speed device that utilizes low power technology to minimize power consumption. "The IS61WV102416ALL/BLL provides the designer a high density solution for x16 applications and easy implementation for wider bus applications requiring 1Meg deep memories," said Sanjiv Asthana, ISSI vice president of sales and marketing. "And when operating at 10ns, power consumption is only 95mA Max. This allows the designer to add a high density, high speed, asynchronous memory array to his system at a fraction of the power normally required." The IS61WV102416ALL/BLL is the second in a broad range of 16Mb SRAMs that ISSI is developing including a variety of organizations, voltage and temperature ranges. It is targeted for networking, telecom, industrial and automotive applications requiring a high density, high speed, zero latency, fully random access memory. ISSI introduced the 2Mx8 version of this 16Mb SRAM earlier this year. The IS61WV102416ALL operates from 1.65V to 2.2V and the IS61WV102416BLL operates from 2.4V to 3.6V. Both are available in 48 pin TSOP I and 48 pin mBGA packages. An automotive version, the IS64WV102416B, will be available in Q2/2007. Price and Availability For quantities of 10,000, the IS61WV102416ALL/BLL, in a 48 pin BGA package with a 0 degrees C to 70 degrees C operating range, is priced at $15.00. Samples are available now with volume production shipments beginning in Q1/2007.
