Kraft Heinz Co. (KHC) said it named Carlos Abrams-Rivera as the new U.S. zone president.

Effective Feb. 3, Mr. Abrams-Rivera will lead all U.S. business operations, the company's largest business, Kraft said.

Since becoming Kraft Heinz chief executive in July, Miguel Patricio also has served as interim president of the U.S. zone, in addition to his global duties.

Mr. Abrams-Rivera will join the company after being at companies including Campbell Soup Co. (CPB), Mondelez International (MDLZ) and Kraft Foods. Mr. Abrams-Rivera joined Campbell in 2015 and most recently served as executive vice president and president, Campbell Snacks. Previously, he was president of Campbell's Pepperidge Farm subsidiary.
